Please Do Now:

  1. Write 5 questions you think might show up on the test.
  2. Make 3 short answer questions, and 2 possible essay questions.

Today, students will:

  1. Review the terms that may show up on the test. (Review List 1.6.08)
  2. Play a review game to consolidate knowledge of taught material.

Tonight’s homework is:

  1. Study the items on the review sheet and make sure you can answer the following questions about each item:
  2. PEOPLE: When did this person live?  Why is this person important?  What historical movements is this person a part of? What famous things did this person do or make?
  3. PLACES: Where is this place on a map?  How does this place relate to the historical movements we have been studying?
  4. IDEAS: What is the basic belief structure of this idea?  Who believed in this idea?  Where?  How does this idea compare and contrast with other ideas we have studied?  How has this idea come into conflict with other ideas we have studied?
  5. EVENTS:  When did this event happen?  Why is this event important in history?  Who participated in the event? 
  6. THINGS:  How does this thing relate to historical people, places, ideas and events?  Why is this thing important in history?
