Please Do Now:

1. Explain the following cartoon in your own words.  What story inspired the cartoon?
2. Create a funny political cartoon that relates to the story you are working on for your group presentation.  Explain why the cartoon is funny to you.

Today, students will:

1. Upload their individual work onto group flashdrives to bring to the library.
2. Peer assess the work that has been completed so far according to the agreed upon standards.
3. Compile individual slides into group presentations with a common theme.

Tonight’s homework is:

1. Finalize group work for presentations due Monday.
2. Organize notebooks for notebook check Monday.
