- Explain the significance of the following cartoon:
Today, students will:
- Divide into Second Quarter Groups by assigned story.
- Read the following stories individually and answer questions individually: Anglo Saxons, Charlemagne, Vikings, Norman Conquest, Islam.
- Storyboard in groups what written and visual elements (maps, artwork, etc) you will need to create a PowerPoint presentation with a minimum of 15 slides.
- Decide what additional information you will need to supplement what is in your group’s story.
- Go to the library to gather information and visual elements for group presentations.
- Assign individual slides to individual group members.
Tonight’s homework is:
- Prepare your individual slides for group assembly on Tuesday. Make sure everything is uploaded on your blog by midnight! If there is a disaster and you can’t upload, email me and bring in all of your work on a flash drive.
- Eat turkey.
